As a kid growing up I remember Ma cooking meals, making soups and chowder and baking. Dinner was every night during the week and a big lunch on Sundays. We're talking real meals: meat, potatoes and vegetables. We never, to my recollection, had frozen meals... never instant potatoes. As an adult we went to Ma and Dad's every Christmas Eve for dinner: Roast Beef, Ragu (spelling?) and all the fixings. New Year's day it was French Meat Pie and Baked Beans, and let's not forget all those cookouts over the years! When we got older and us kids started doing Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter, etc. Ma brought desserts. She was truly happy when feeding those she loved (and any guests we wanted to bring were always made to feel at home!) Ma passed on November 10, 2007. These are some of our favorite recipes we remember from her kitchen.

Spaghetti Sauce for 50

Main Courses
Boeuf Bourguignon - A classic French dish, beef in a rich, wine based gravy. Good served over noodles.
Boston Baked Beans - A classic recipe that works best in a real bean pot!
French Meat Pie
